I discovered this word having spent lots of hours at the Pompei, Oplontis, Herculanium and other archaeological sites. Observing endless ancient ceramic objects in the museums I thought about the vast multitude of ceramic works which will remain buried and never be discovered.

I tried to imagine what the unknown ancient excavations would look like by using modern special effect glazes on the simple shaped vessels.
